Inside Government Magazine was started in 2003 to provide thorough coverage of the Civil and Public sector. Its aim was to provide a media which would allow our readers to stay in touch with what’s going on in the sector, to understand how the sector is changing and help them to learn from the successes and mistakes of others. Inside Government Magazine also provides information about new products and services and to identify and implement new innovations. In what in an autonomous and smoke stacked sector we hope Inside Government Magazine will promote shared best practice across the sector.

About the Innovation Through Technology Awards

Inside Government Magazine also hosts the annual Innovation Through Technology Awards. Firmly established as a key event in the Public Sector Calendar, the Awards Presentation Dinner will take place in March 2007. As with previous years, keynote address and all Awards will be presented by An Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern (subject to his availability). Last year over 260 decision-makers attended including Junior Ministers, Department Secretaries, and Principal Officers. Last year’s Awards had more than 300 submissions with both the short-listed nominees and the category winners receiving substantial media coverage nationally and in trade press
